Our Philosophy on Hospice

Cross on the Hill SunshineThe philosophy of Hospice is founded upon a belief in the sacred dignity of human life, and the importance of respecting the creed and philosophy of every individual. We believe that all people are responsible both for themselves and for one another. So believing, we are committed to providing such compassionate and competent care as to affirm life to our patients. We believe that each person’s experience affects all who have a relationship with him or her, and that is always a privilege to be allowed by a patient and his or her family to provide them with care and services at a time of need.

Hospice is an idea, not a place. Our purpose is to provide personalized care that will enhance the quality life for those who are facing these difficult times. At Hospice Care of the Carolinas provide support and care for not only our patients, but also their families and loved ones so that they can live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice believes that though personalized services and a caring community; Patients and loved ones can attain not only the necessary healthcare that they need, but the best care that they deserve. Support is also available through our Pastors and Chaplains.
